Semiparametric two-sample admixture components comparison test: The symmetric case

In this paper, we consider admixture models which are two-component mixture distributions having one known component. This is the case when a gold standard reference component well known, and population contains such plus another with different features. When two populations drawn from models, propose penalized χ2-type testing procedure allowing pairwise comparison of unknown components, i.e. to test equality their residual features densities, under symmetry condition. A numerical study carried out large range simulation setups illustrate asymptotic properties our test. Moreover applied on real-world case: galaxy velocities datasets, where stars heliocentric mixed Milky Way compared.
